Almost time for a Sunkist Summer

Summer is still months away… Technically, it’s not even spring, and yet, as soon as the sun warms their little faces, the temperature reaching no more than 10˚C, my kids are begging for ice cream.  “Please Mama, we’re HOOOOOT”.  This is a typical refrain from what I’ve heard from my “mom” friends, but what isn’t typical is that my kids know that our freezers are packed with ice cream, well, sort of, Sunkist frozen fruit bars to be exact.

One of the perks of having parents who own a distribution company is that there are always stock piles of the products at home. Something my kids can’t appreciate at this age, however, is that we only work with products that are considered better for you compared to what is already available in the market.  We don’t stand behind products that are full of high fructose corn syrup, preservatives, artificial flavours or colors; if I won’t feed it to my own kids, we don’t supply it.

That’s why, even though it’s only March, I’ll say yes, knowing that if you compare our Sunkist bars to any of the other frozen fruit bars in your grocers freezer, you won’t find a better or cleaner ingredients deck or one with such pure, real taste.  So the next time you’re out grabbing groceries pick up one of the 5 flavours of Sunkist frozen fruit bars so when your kids start the ice-cream-whine you can feel good about saying yes too.
